LDC Dining Experience
The menu is pretty second rate. It has the same food for lunch and dinner and the combination of food types is odd if not just gross. There is always the pasta fail-safe option, but the portions are a bit too small at times. It gets old pretty quickly, you can go to Burton Dining hall but ultimately, its always the same food, regardless of the day.

Northfield Restaurant Scene
There are some great restaurants in Northfield, if you like pizza and sandwiches. There are two Indian restaurants and a new Japanese place. However, restaurants move through Northfield quickly so get to your favorite one as often as you can because it may be gone tomorrow.

An Awesome Place
I have had a great time at Carleton, though this is only my second year. It's tough academically, but when you sign up for a place like this, that is what you should be expecting. There is a lot of fun to be had on the weekend but you do need to plan out time for both social and academic things. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else, this is the college that I knew I belonged to, the community is close and the classes are fascinating.
