Very Safe
The campus is very safe. Students can stay late on campus and walk back home without having anything to worry about.

Very Active
The Ames community on its own is very quiet but the Iowa State Campus gets very lively. It is about 2/3 of Ames itself. There is always some activity going on on campus

Variety of Options and Easy to Switch
Switching majors is a very easy process at Iowa State. There are over 100 majors to choose from. The admission process is the easiest you will every find. No essays at all. Just fill out a 2 page application or about and submit your grades.
