Safe at Smith
Smith College campus not only feels safe, it is in it's own bubble of tranquility divided from the bustle of downtown Northampton MA. In addition, campus police frequently make their round around campus, one cannot go a day without seeing a trooper parked along the sidewalks. I feel extremely safe on campus, and never doubt the protection provides to myself and my fellow students.

The Riches of Northampton Dining
Although my limited monetary situation prevents me from partaking in the riches of Northampton cuisine, I know the restaurants and cafes along main street provide diverse and delectable off-campus dining options. From Thai, Chinese,Argentinian,Vegan/Vegetarian,Italian and locally-supported establishments, Smith students have an impressive range of choices for a dinner out.
