Norman, OK
If you go to OU you rarely leave the east part of Norman, you have everything you need there Wal-mart, Mcdonalds, pizza shuttle. Campus corner has several cute retail shops and restaurants, and is the home of the nightlife of Norman. West-side Norman is newer and nicer, and where most of the uppetty folk live. For the most part it is a very safe town!

Safe, Safe, Safe
The town of Norman is known for its low crime rates, therefore making the University safer. I wish there were security guards that patrolled campus at night. The only time I don't feel safe is when I have to make a long walk to my car due to virtually no parking, after spending a late night at the library studying. I could call safe walk, but I would have to wait 45 minutes and be greeted by a stranger who is annoyed with me because I actually made him do something.

Parking Sucks
Its a rather large campus, and if you don't live in the dorms parking is a nightmare when trying to get to class. Without a ridiculously expensive parking permit there are literally no public parking spaces in reasonable walking distance, and if you have a parking permit...good luck finding a spot.
