Valpo Atmosphere
Local atmosphere is that of a small town with a bustling downtown area that boasts a wide variety of restaurants that offers great outdoor dining combined with an array of small boutiques and small privaetly owned shops that a great selection of items. Culturally speaking it has a way to go and is not diverse. However it's a very safe place with a wide range of shopping opportunities and a healthy lifestyle is a priority. Attitudes toward college students is positive.

Adult Scholar
As an adult scholar I don't get to utilize dining services too much. However the new Union has is the main gathering place for meals. Besides the beauty of this new building thge menus are pretty good offering brick oven pizza, a fresh deli sandwich section, a hot meal section topped off with a great salad and desert bar.There are great salads and sandwiches pre-packed along with a great variety of fresh fruit, soy products and soda
