Providence Is the Perfect Size
Providence is great for being in a capital city but without a lot of the drawbacks of a big city. Traveling is easy to get in and out. There's always a lot to do.

Crazy New England
Providence has typical New England weather. Cold winters, hot summers every month in between is totally unpredictable.

Do a Little Background Check on Professors
Check out the professors before hand. Get some opinions from past students. There are a lot of great professors here and a few poor ones. Just make sure you know what you're getting into.

The teams aren't too successful right now, but the games are usually fun anyways and bring a crowd
