You May Not See It Much, but It's Definitely There
UVa has a much larger drinking scene than drugs. But with a upper-middle class school ultimately comes the baggage of drugs. UVa's drug scene is more hush-hush and a lot of people do not do them. Even though you won't be able to see it on an average night out, just know that it's there and to be cautious.

Parking Sucks!
The parking situation at UVA is so ridiculous. Many apartment complexes do not offer much parking and you often have to pay for a spot. This leads to cut-throat and very stressful street parking. Charlottesville is a highly-populated area, but the parking is just terrible!

We Know We're the Best
No matter where you go, or whom you meet, UVA will always be one of those "OH WOW" schools you hear about. The standards to which the student body holds itself are very high and we like to be known as a competitive and over-achieving student body. You will always want to know how another student does so much or gets grades that high. That's UVA on an average day. We like to know that we are attending one of the most prestigious and most highly ranked universities in the US, and that's all there is to it.
