Transfer Student's Dream

I transferred to UCSC as a junior because of the amazing psychology program they offer. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and makes each study sesh in the library that much more tolerable. The professors I had for my junior year were hands down the BEST professors I've had in my life. They actually care about you as an individual and ensure your right to excell.

Stoked About Psych

Psychology is something that I just can't get enough of. I enjoy my classes so much that I have taken abnormal psychology twice at two different schools, just because it's my favorite. If I could do it all over again, I would challenge myself more in the beginning of my college career to have been able to take more challening courses before I finish school. My goal is to get my Masters and eventually have my own practice someday. Abnormal psychology is my strongest area because I enjoy focusing on the serious mental illnesses. Although it is hard to enroll in the psychology classes at UCSC due to the high impact, my experience so far has been awesome.
