CSU - Northridge
The campus is right off of a few main roads in Northridge, CA. People probably don't even notice that the HUGE campus even exists because they drive right past it on the busy streets getting to their jobs further south toward main Los Angeles area. The area is one that I, personally, would consider "ghetto" and not very student friendly (although the campus is great). Because of this, I commute to and from campus and live in a much nicer area.

CSU - Northridge (Diversity)
There is SO much diversity on the CSU - Northridge campus. It is rather eye-opening the religions, ethnicity, and cultural differences that you will see in just walking the campus once. There are so many cultural clubs and spirit walking about the campus and everyone seems to get along and enjoy the fact that there is an immense amount of diversity.

Bars and Clubs
The bars and clubs are where it's at on the weekends. There are no parties in and around campus because it is a commuter school. Going to bars and clubs are one way to meet new people and to hang out.
