Dorm Life
I think that the dorm life on campus is fun depending on how you are. You can meet different people but you can also be as secluded as you'd like. The freshman have the newer/nicer/closer to classes dorms.. and then most of the upperclassman housing is old and really needs remodeling.

Drugs & Alcohol Visibility
There is a lot of drinking at URI, but mostly down the line where the older students live and the beach houses. But there is drinking and such on campus at frats and in the dorms. URI is also refered to "U.R.High." so yeah... theres a lot of smoking and such on campus also. You can have fun without these things if you prefer too
