Boulder has so much to offer for every type of student, if you're more outdoor-sy there are plenty of opportunities to hike, go up to the slopes to ski, and lots of beautiful nature scenes. Boulder also has a big night life if you're into a more social atmosphere of college and on the flip side there are so many opportunities for every major to have great internships and research opportunities!

Night Life in Boulder
Boulder is known for having a pretty big party scene, however it's mostly a really "fratty" campus in that the frats dominate the party scene. If you're not into partying there is a minority that enjoys going out without the drinking and partying.

Boulder Drug Scene
Boulder is known as a "pot school", but if you don't smoke there's not pressure to as they one's who smoke generally have their own group that they smoke with. If you're not a smoker it is a disturbance when there is constantly smoke outside when you're trying to study or meet with friends.
