They do a good job of keeping the campus safe and I have never been afraid during my time at Vassar.

Warm Summers, Cold Winters
There are definitely seasons at Vassar. Bring a fan for the summer/early fall months and your warmest coat for the winter months.

Campus
Most activities happen on campus. There are a few cafes and restaurants off campus, but not too many. It doesn't matter though since campus life is so vibrant and interesting!
