Campus Dining at University of Vermont

A-

Food @ UVM

Overall the food at UVM isn't bad, as long as you know where to look, and that you're willing to wait for good food to be prepared for you, so it's fresh and ready for you to eat. I believe there are some things that aren't always great here, but that's true for most big institutions. Again, being open minded, and willing to try new foods, and learning about local food places is always a must when you're at the university!

Restaurants in and Around Burlington

I love the restaurants here, and there's plenty of places to dine. Whether you're the diner type, or would like a nice sit down meal with friends, it's here in the Burlington area. I like that they're two malls that you can choose to dine at or just pick up a small snack, such as bubble tea, or coffee from Starbucks. There's always someplace to eat, so no one goes hungry when they're downtown. The bus system is for the most part reliable, then again most places are within walking distance, so you are able to get your exercise before heading to a nice place to eat. It's a nice city, with a huge lake to add to the scenic experience.

Getting Involved at Groovy UV.

There's so much to do here, there's never a dull moment. As long as you apply yourself, and seek out the things that interest you the most, whether it's an organization you've always longed to be a part of or you're itching to start you own club, you can and with a few friends it's possible to make that dream come alive. School spirit here, is a major part of the extra curricular scene, and our mascot, Rally the Cat, is the best. Meow. The athletic facilities are splendid, and there's always something happening, whether it's a dance class, or students climbing the rock wall, it's all there and free for students, and staff to use at their leisure. It's a busy time no matter the season at the Univ. of Vermont.
