Campus Dining at North Carolina State University

A

Campus Dining at NCSU

We have three dining halls offered around campus so students don't have to walk too far to eat. We also several places like the Atrium and Talley student center where students can get things like Chick-fil-a, Taco Bell, Lil Dinos, Toppers and etc. if they do not want to eat at the dining hall. The campus is located between two major streets: Hillsborough and Western Blvd, both which offer a variety of options for students that are looking to eat off campus. Students can also get snacks using their All Campus card or Board Bucks at the convenience stores located throughout the campus. Overall the prices are not too bad either, with the exception of the c-stores which tend to over charge on things.

Campus Strictness at North Carolina State University

D+

Pretty Strict

NC State has a no tolerance policy when it comes to drugs. If you get caught with anytime of drug and you live off campus, you are automatically kicked out of your dorm. The alcohol policy is pretty strict but it depends on the circumstances. If you are caught drinking and driving you are automatically expelled for a semester. So be careful when you are underage and looking to party.

Parking at North Carolina State University

D+

Parking Is a Hassle

Parking can be a big hassle. A lot of times they oversell parking so finding a spot can be nearly impossible. If you are parked illegally or in the wrong parking zone, you WILL get a ticket. They can range between 20-40 dollars, which may not seem much, but they will all add up. Usually you don't really need a car on campus your first year when you live in dorms because we have a Wolfline bus system which is great. If you do happen to bring a car as a freshman your parking spots are going to be on a completely different campus that you'll have to take a bus to, so its not even worth it.
