Diversity at University of Iowa

A-

University of Iowa

The University of Iowa is a very diverse college. It may be in the little town of Iowa City, but during the year all kinds of people will be seen roaming the streets. Iowa City community is very accepting of all people and as a black, Muslim woman myself, I have not once felt discriminated against in the least. I really enjoy the University of Iowa as a school and Iowa City as the place I grew up in.

Campus Dining at University of Iowa

Yummmmy!

Since the University is set in downtown Iowa City, there are a variety of food options to check out. The best part is that even though the campus food scene is diverse, it doesn't leave your pockets empty.

I Don't Regret Art History

I like my linguistics program at the university. I do think they could expand a bit and make it better, but I understand since the program is fairly new. I don't think I would change anything, but maybe I would work a little harder in my beginning years, that definitely would've helped. I'm not too worried about finding a job since I don't plan on staying in America let alone Iowa. I want to travel the world and help people and I think my major can help me do that.
