How stressful is the academic climate? I am willing to work very hard, but I hope to enjoy friends and extracurriculars while at American... Manageable? Relaxing? Overwhelming?

It isn't terrible! As long as you have great time managing skills and utilize your help whenever you need it you'll be fine!

Everyone at Emerson works REALLY hard because everyone wants to succeed. Despite that, everyone likes to have a good time and most people are involved in some sort of extracurricular. We all manage to make it work for us.
