Everyone Has Own Computer
I don't know anyone who didn't have their own computer--we had computer labs, but no one used them. Network reliability can be a bit iffy at times, but wireless is everywhere.

Great major--interesting classes (sometimes hard and work intensive, but interesting). don't major in communications if you don't like to be put on the spot.

Beautiful--For Ohio
Weather is average Ohio weather, but the campus is gorgeous EVERY season--something all student will agree on. Also, the heated sidewalks are pretty handy.

Hard to Describe
Oxford is a small town--but Miami is a relatively large college, especially considering the size of the town. Crime happens, mainly minor burglaries and sexual assault off-campus--but since the town is so small, these off campus events definately worry everyone. Campus itself is pretty safe and there are tons of saftey measures.

Nightlife Is Fantastic
It doesn't get better than nightlife in Oxford--the big cities have nothing on us. Bars allow everyone 18+ in (can't buy drinks, obviously). Always an absurd amount of fraternity, sorority, and house parties. Never ever a dull night.

Atmosphere, Scenery Are Amazing
Miami is a unique place--the student population is very attractive and also very upper to upper-middle class. The social scene is always going full swing, fashion trends are always here first, but people are a little on the privlegded side. The scenery is gorgeous--all red brick building, beautiful quads and trees/flowers--you won't find anything like this elsewhere.

Academics Are Hard, but Manageable
Classes are hard--despite what this website says, Miami is not easy to get into and classes are difficult, but not unmanageable.

HUGE Greek Life
Huge Greek life, but no sorority houses--just sorority dorms, which is not cool, but otherwise, Greek life is fun--but not necessary. Just be aware that a large percentage of the population goes Greek.
