Fairly Common
Drug usage is fairly common at the University of Oregon, but with such a large, diverse student body, it is easy to find students who share your same views on substance use. It is common to smell/see people smoking weed, but there is not a lot of "peer pressure" to do it or not do it.

Buses Are Free
Buses are fairly easy to use around Eugene, and they are free for students at the U of O who have their student body card.

Rainy and Cold
Most of the year is pretty rainy and cold, but as long as you invest in some good rain boots and a coat to keep you warm/dry, the weather isn't a huge problem.
