Honestly, besides alcohol (which is pretty much evident or talked about a lot) I haven't really heard or seen anything about illegal drugs other than the occasional "legalize marijuana" poster.

I was offered a good and reasonable amount of financial aid, but it was hard to get in contact with the office when something went wrong with my online form and needed to be corrected (too much aid was given actually, and I didn't want to be that indebted). But the office played phone tag with me for half an hour and passed me from one person to another until the office closed and I still didn't have an answer. My mother called the next day and fixed it, but it was very stressful for me!

Wide Variety of Students – The student body at NCTC is very diverse. From non-traditional students to dual credit students, commuters to residents, there are many possibilities to get to know a wide variety of people. Generally speaking the students are younger and during the day, there are many dual credit students, but the evening courses definitely have more of a variety.

I have been able to gain valuable time management skills through such courses and have furthered my education in ways that high school might not have provided me.
