Diversity at Miami University

Although they have made strides in creating a more diverse atmosphere by adding more asians and african americans, the majority of students at Miami are still white, upper middle class. Some are accepting more than others, but there are enough people that you will make friends no matter what background you come from.

The Aid Is Pretty Good

It varies from student to student. For instance, you may have been given the same scholarship as someone else, but their's may be worth more. It was relatively easy filing for aid; I only had to send in one additional form to complete. I submitted my app on the last possible day and still got a scholarship worth more than many of the students that filed before me.
