Secluded TTS Syndrome
Kirksville's only attractions are the Thousand Hills State Park, an average movie theater, Walmart, a small JC Penny,and some antique shops. Of course, there's always parties, but Typical Truman Student syndrome will start kicking in because of two reasons: Kirksville is super secluded and Truman students are usually too busy studying. The only thing to look forward to is weekends and breaks, so we can get the hell out of Kirksville.

Everyone Knows
Most everyone knows when there's a party, even the professors. I, personally don't care, but if you interact with people, you'll know about it all. Just don't drink or do drugs on campus, you should be safe, but beware the police as always.

It's Based on Personal Flavors...
I'm okay with Truman State, it's got a great academic program, but it can overwork you, so choose the number of credits you take wisely... There's not much to do, but if your focused on school, it doesn't really matter. The scenery is great, the snow in the winter is scary, the spring is awesome and Walmart will be your best friend. Truman State will eventually grow on you, like Moss growing on trees. :)
