Greeks Have Moderate Impact
The impact a fraternity or sorority has on campus life depends on which one it is. Some fraternities and sororities have reputations that classify them as friendly or unfriendly. Greeks are not hard to find on LSU's campus. However, they do not isolate themselves among non-Greeks, and tend to socialize with everyone.

Parking Is Accessible to Everyone
LSU takes parking very seriously. A large number of students commute to class every day. Due to its size, LSU has to have several parking lots around campus. So solve some problems, LSU designates certain parking lots as residential, commuter, teacher, and employee lots. Commuters can generally find a parking spot 15 minutes before class on whatever side of campus they need to be on.

Weather Is Very Pleasant
Weather in Louisiana is very humid. However, it is usually sunny and a pleasant temperature. The seasons are not too drastic, and even on a very cold day the walk to class is short. It may rain once every two weeks, but there are plenty of overhangs to shelter students from the occasional rainy weather.
