Tons of Diversity, Not Much Mixing
There is a large amount of people of different races, religions, and sexualities, and there are tons of international students. However, I have noticed that there is not much mixing between races or with the international students.

Bring a Computer
There are tons of computer labs on the Smith campus that are easy enough to get a spot in. The only computers that are crowded aren't part of labs, they're just for quick use in the libraries or the Campus Center. Almost all of the computers are at least dual boot (can run as both Mac and PC) and some are triple boot (can run Linux too). Mostly everyone has a laptop, and it's definitely much easier. Printing can be a little obnoxious (each page costs five cents), especially in the Washburn lab, but there are plenty of locations with printers. Having a printer is not a must, but makes things much easier. Wireless is pretty good, for the most part, and covers the whole campus including dorms. There have been a few network crashes where no one can get Internet, but they were over within a few hours.
