Close Proximity to the Beach and the City.
Hofstra University has a beautiful campus that is 4o minutes away from the beach and 40 minutes away from New York City. The faculty and staff are friendly and helpful.

Public Relations-Finish Strong at Hofstra
Coming to Hofstra University after attending several colleges around the United States, the first thing that impressed me was the helpful staff and faculty. After finishing my first semester I am thankful for the dedicated professors who not only are passionate about teaching but they are passionate about reaching their students.

Gardens at Hofstra
Walking around the campus at Hofstra is pleasing to the eye and the soul. The campus is not too small and not too big. It's just the right size to make it intersting.

Public Relations
Being a public relations major has been a very positive experience at Hofstra. Not only do most of the public relation professors work professionally in the field, there is also a student run public relations organization.

Financial Aid at Hofstra
My experience with Hofstra's financial aid has been bitter sweet. The fact that I am a nontraditional student who is a single mom has not had any impact on my financial aid package because Hofstra sets aside a lot of its grants and funds for incoming Freshman.
