Great Restaurants!
The great thing about Wooster is all the little treasures you can find in the town. They have the best restaurants! Although we're in the middle of nowhere, we're not too far away from Akron and Cleveland.
However on the flip side, they relationship with the community and the college is nothing to be desired. There have been many occasions where the towns people scream racial and sexist slurs as they drive by the college. That is something which our administrators are in the process of figuring out.

Get Your Parents to Buy You a Car!
Public transport lacks at Wooster. There are no buses or trains, the town is too small for such. There are a couple of cab companies, however, that have special college rates.
The school provides shuttles to the main shopping area and shuttles also go to and from airports before and after all breaks. They also set up a Hertz car rental program on campus so as long as you have your driver's license, you can rent a car from the school on a per hour basis and it'll get charged to your main school account. Pretty neat!

IS Rocks!!
IS is the first thing that comes to mind. The Wooster Independent Study is a year's independent project that every senior engages in. It's much like a master's thesis and you come out with learned research skills, time management, and are able to put the theory learned in class to practice in a real and relevant research topic.
There are also SO many opportunities for one to learn internationally. We have a great study abroad program as well as many avenues for students to share their home country to the rest of the student body.
