The City That Never Sleeps
As cliche as it sounds, I think it goes without saying that New York City has an abundance of things to do that are not college related. It has the widest variety of restaurants, museums, theaters, bars, and shopping of any city I have ever been to and I thoroughly enjoy broadening my horizons outside of the classroom as much as inside it.

Liberal Studies
As a rising sophomore in the Liberal Studies Program I feel like I am getting an amazing education and I have found nearly all of my professors to be inspiring thus far. The curriculum includes a lot of reading and writing, but this varies a lot between NYU's multiple "schools". I also find NYU's many study abroad options very appealing.

Many Options, I Don't Know Them
I enjoy my program, but I find it difficult to get help from academic counselors about the steps I will need to take to transition to my intended major my junior year. I feel like my program is preparing me for the workload I will take on at the next level, but it is also disconcerting to know that my program is limiting me from certain majors, such as Business or anything related with the arts.
