Pepperdine Waves Rule!
On any of the tours you go on, they tell you how good all of Pepperdine Athletics are. Everyone's favorite is usually men's volleyball, but every other sports game is always packed. Women's soccer now especially because they're undefeated! Everyone loves going to the games to cheer on our friends. The students on the teams basically have to wear their athletic clothes all day because they run to and from practice in between classes, so you know who they all are and we give them encouragement through the day. The teachers especially love sports, it's crazy! Before Math in the morning my calc professor is always talking to the star soccer player in my class about how awesome she played, it really gets her pumped for her next game or practice.

Good Sumaritan Policy Leaves Wiggle Room
Pepperdine is a dry campus, that's one of the reasons why I picked the school. When I got here, however, they told us about this policy they have called the Good Sumaritan Policy. It basically says you won't get in trouble for drinking if you drink to the brink of death, or if you call in someone who has been drinking to the brink of death. It gives a lot of leeway cause kids think they can party super hard, and then the university will take care of them and they won't get in trouble. I haven't seen it happen yet, but i've heard it being discussed among the other students, and who knows what their keeping under wraps.

I Live in Paradise
Pepperdine is my dream school! The Christian mission combined with the irresistable views and the fact that you live in MALIBU of all places is a dream come true to this country girl. Some of the people can be a little snobby because it's an expensive school so a lot of richs kids come, but they're usually nice once you get to know them, and I wouldn't trade my opportunity to come here for the world!
