Local Atmosphere
Very laid back but not very many things to do. There is a flourishing amount of outdoor activities very close to campus. The people of the town are very communal and share the same great spirit for their school. Locals get hyphy but there is really not a lot of "college activities" for students. Some hip/cool places might include; The pillars on top of red hill, pie hole, roberto's (open all night), bars in old town, bengal theater, old town, reed gym, and of course ALL OF THE BENGAL ATHLETIC EVENTS!!!!!!!

FOOD!!!!!!
Turner food sucks!!!!!! be ready for some time spent on the toilet!! Rendezvous and the c-store are pretty good options. Also, the price to eat on campus i.e. meal plans, the vous, the sub... is outrageous for what you're getting. on very slim occasions do they make delicious food in turner. tower's after hours can be good but its all fried food.

Off-campus dining can be amazing. taco bell and all the other chains are located right off campus and are open during the day. El Herradero is the best mexican place in town. Roberto's is awesome for drunk food as it is open 24hrs. Elmers is pricey but totally worth it. Next to elmers is goody's and its phenomenal! Pie hole is a really cool atmosphere.
