It's San Diego
USD is an amazing school, especially for its small class sizes, close-knit community, and scenery. The lack in school spirit and the lack of party scenes on campus make going out at night a bit challenging. Despite that, I love the people here and the community I am a part of.

So Far, So Good
The financial aid office has been a huge help when it comes to my financial aid. They offered all of their time and made sure I was doing everything correctly. The only downside was that they wouldn't up my scholarship even though other schools, that were similar to USD, gave me more money. They understood my family's financial situation and gave us a larger grant and made it a smooth process.

So Far, So Good
I am undeclared, but despite that, all of the classes that I have been in, the professors have been really nice and willing to help you do your best. I did focus on getting a good grade, but I learned so much in each class, especially communications, which is what I am thinking about majoring in. I haven't really looked into the job opportunities but I am sure there are a lot!

Greek Life Is What You Make It
Greek life is a great way to get involved on campus. Some people look down on greek life, but I think it is fun and social yet we do community service and we do fundraisers to raise money. We do not have housing so we can still experience the dorm life yet experience greek life at the same time.

Drugs or Drinking?
Drugs are prevalent on our campus, but by "drugs" I mean smoking marijuana. Drinking is definitely more popular and more students take part in it.

Very Strict
Public Safety and the university itself are very strict when it comes to academics and social lives (especially social lives). Parking tickets are given out all the time in ridiculous situations and the first time offenses for alcohol are pretty severe, especially if you are in Greek life. If you are sent home from an event, you check in with your RA who has to call Public Safety who drives you to downtown where they throw you in Detox for the night.
