There's a lot of pride at Concordia for the sports teams. We are proud of our athletes and keep up with them daily, including the professors. However, games are hard to get to sometimes so they might not always receive the support they deserve.
There is never a student at Concordia who feels threatened by the other students. Each student is truly original in looks, interests, and dress but that does not limit them to the relationships with teachers and peers.
There are two eating facilities at COncordia: The Commons and The Brickyard. The Commons is open for every meal of the day and inbetween classes but not in the afternoon before dinner. The Commons offers a variety of foods including deli meats, hot foods, grilled foods, soups, salads, bagels, sweets, and fresh fruits. In the morning, smoothies are offered with fruit and yogurt. The Brickyard is more of a place to go for snacks and hang out. There's a large variety of "greasy" foods from chicken fingers to onion rings. It all depends on your appetite to choose between the two.
The weather changes as usual in the North East, but the campus is absolutely beautiful in the snow, the spring, and the fall. There are tons of cherry blossom trees in the spring and bright orange leaves in the fall.
Student-Teacher Relations – The students at Concordia get something other Universities cannot compare to, and that is the connection each professor has with their students. Every professor knows their students, their prefered teaching style and has helped them map out their graduation program so they can help them succeed. Without the professors the school might slip through.
