WiscCard allows a student to use their money on food at any of the dining halls or restaurants at the student union, but the food in the dining halls isn't very good. In addition, there are plenty of places to get food on campus including Qdoba, Five Guys, Noodles, etc.

Freezing Winter
Really nice summers, but freezing cold winters. It's so cold and snowy from November to April that it's almost unbearable to walk to class or be outside.

Greatest Place on Earth
UW-Madison is a great experience for both the social butterfly and the hard worker. There is so much to do on and off campus and the learning experience is amazing. You definitely have to study an extreme amount to do well, but there's always time for partying after your studying.

A Lot to Do
Madison is a great place for a college campus. On campus is State Street with plenty of familiar restaurants and shopping - Qdoba, Noodles, Five Guys, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, and more. In the fall, there's always a Badger Football game and every student will be in the stands to watch and in the winter, everyone will be at the hockey games.

Football Games!!
The greatest part about UW-Madison is definitely the football games. The Badger football team is amazing and the student section is always full.
