Financing the Dream
Eckerd is relatively expensive, but they help combat that with pretty good financial aid packages for incoming freshmen. After that, it can be pretty hard to get more scholarships from the school as you get older.

Plenty of Places
There are plenty of great places to eat in St. Pete, from Mexican to seafood to Thai. Plenty of places deliver to campus, and a couple chain restaurants have Eckerd discounts and deals.

Most Students Live on Campus
There are some nice places to live, but they have two requirements: money (or two roommates) and a car.

You WANT to Study Here
You WANT to Study Here
The Eckerd College library is a small two-story library with a very modern and efficient draw. This is a spot where you'll often run into 60 percent of the people you know on campus. It's a popular place to study, chat, meet with groups, and relax (some even nap here.) There’s plenty of places to study, including a screened-in patio, comfy armchairs, and various study rooms to vie for.

One of Eckerd’s highlights is the exceptional waterfront on campus. Students can rent kayaks, fishing poles, go wakeboarding, or check out a sailboat. The best part is jumping off the dock into Boca Ciega Bay, Eckerd’s backyard and year-round playground.

Kappa Stomping Grounds
This is one of the more popular traditional dorms at Eckerd, with close proximity to Kappa Field.
