Is it smarter to do your generals at a community college then when once you've got your associates go to a university? Or just do it all at a university?

My opinion is to start at a community college because it is smaller, cheaper, and helps prepare students for a larger, more strict university. It is a great way to ease into college life.

Start at a community college for the cheaper tuition, transfer to a university when you are comfortable.

For the money Id say its better to start at the community college. I am just doing my generals there (not completing a degree) then i will transfer to another university with a letter of completion.

So far everything I've researched. It seems to be the best way to go especially if you didn't have good grade coming out of high school they look at the Jr. college grades instead.

I don't see much of a difference of doing it at a community college. There are different requirements between the two but that's about it. It is definitely cheaper to do it at the community college.

I think it is smart to do your general at the community college because they offer a great education and also your not going to be attending classes with over a 100 people like up at the university.
