Campus Safety
I have never felt unsafe in Madison, but you still have to be smart. I live in the city like area, and as a girl it is not smart to walk alone. If you use common sense, you should be fine.

City Life
Madison is a decent sized city. There are always activities to do, but the students here mainly party, so you kind of don't need the city to be there.

Off Campus Dining
I think the real place where most people eat is state street, which has pretty good restaurants. There is a big diversity of what to eat, however if you aren't near State, (it can be pretty far) I don't think there are a lot of restaurants.

Racial Diversity
There is a pretty big blend of racial diversity from what I can see, however I know tat there are a lot of other people who disagree and don't really think that there is.
