Amazing Location
FCLC is a block from Columbus Circle and Central Park West, in between Hell's Kitchen and the Upper West Side. The subway is close by so it's easy to get around. There's plenty to do around campus, and I feel safe walking around at night. The location really is perfect.

As Safe as It Gets
I've never felt unsafe around the Lincoln Center campus (though we get frequent security alerts from the Rose Hill campus). The neighborhood that we're in has a good amount of traffic so that, unless you're walking on your own at 4AM, you really have nothing to worry about. You have to show your ID to get into the buildings, and most of the security guards are very friendly. Health, on the other hand... there were issues with bedbugs in the beginning of the year. A couple of rooms had problems and had to switch rooms temporarily. While this isn't too out of the ordinary for NYC, the school was trying to sweep it under the rug.

Too Easy
It's NYC, obviously the subway system is always running so you can get wherever you want, whenever you want. We're only a couple of stops away from Penn Station. Also, the Ram Van runs between the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses, though it's a $3 charge per ride (unless you need it to get to a class). Nobody really uses taxis because of their cost... unless you're drunk and trying to get home, of course.

A Lot to Offer
FCLC's location is prime for dining. A lot of places deliver to us (per delivery.com) and a lot of students go to The Flame, a 24 hour diner that has pretty good food. The cafeteria is disgusting... I found a dead, rather large spider in my salad AT ORIENTATION. It also has the most ridiculous hours (closes after 4 on weekends). You'll want to avoid it when you can, and there's plenty of options to choose from.
