Professors Help Find Your Potential
I have been to a state university as well as a community college and I must say the professors at SMU are immensely challenging. They really know how to get you to tap into your full potential and creativity - often without you realizing that you had it. They can open your mind to subjects you never thought would interest you and delicately push you to find motivation.

Everybody Goes Greek - Almost
Greek life is huge on campus, there is always something going on at the housings. I personally am not Greek or do I participate at any Greek events. By observation, our campus is dominated by at least 75% Greek students. It's no secret that SMU is pretty well-know for their Greek life.

Drinking Yes, Drugs Not Sure
Drinking is pretty big on campus but I have not encountered any issues with drug use. I can't really say that it doesn't happen on campus but I have not seen it.
