RIT Computers
We have new computer flat screen in NLC NTID area, they are a bit loading long but students get to use them anytime they want to (unless the NLC is closed), mostly it is for use to students who are working on their assignments or projects. A lot of windows and mac laptops are to be loaned either for few hours or overnight. When it comes to RIT Wallace Library the computers are desktops with a very slow connection and they're never updated. Although, RIT Library has a lot of wi-fi spots, where students are able to connect their own laptop and surf free. All campus us wi-fi so mostly whenever you go with your own laptop you're able to connect (except underground classrooms).

RIT Social Life on and Off Campus
Mostly RIT has a lot of social life going on around campus, there are over 100 clubs and organizations for every student to try. Each club or organization is based on a students hobby, it can be categorized into arts, sports, acting, major related or just for fun. There are a lot of major intended clubs, so even if a student is undecided or has a major they can still try out singing for a club for their on hobby or information if they're interested in switching their major. Each club offers an after class activity for everyone to attend to, mostly they're free of charge, but some require small admission payment. We do have an outside college activities most concerts come and perform on campus. When it comes to off campus social life, RIT provides a lot of restaurants and bars, its located in the center of a city with lot of malls, movie theaters, and vice versa. Students have a transportation from and off campus anywhere they feel free to go. There are some problem with underage night life, most on campus events happens in dorms or apartments, where underage students attend and are hiding their age in order to drink. There were many cases where campus safety had busted under age drinking, or banned parties from certain places. RIT Global Village as well as RIT Inn and Park Point offers bars for students 21 years old, but mostly underage students sneak in and ask their friends for a sip or to but them a drink. I think there should be a guard standing in alcohol related places and check everyone for ID and proof of age.

Weather at RIT
Mostly RIT is located near Canada and we do get severe winter storms and thunder storms. Winter last from late October to late April, so usually students complain of the cold and snow. There are few sunny days in winter and most students tends to sleep in and miss their classes or simply get winter blues. There are a lot of problems with students trying to find motivation or attend classes during winter especially those who have an early morning class. Sometimes under ground classes are snowed in and students loose their ability to learn, as well as professors who drive to campus tend to loose their ability to get to class if there's severe storm and the roads are not cleared. It also affect students who rely on public transportation as well as those who walk to classes.
