Campus Dining at University of California - San Diego

A-

Food and Dining Options

Within UCSD there is a college system. Every student is from a college. For example, I am in Muir College. Every college (there are six total)have their own dining hall. So there are six different dining halls for you to go to. Each are special their own way. For example sixth college dining hall focus on pizza and have the best pizza. It all depends where you go to eat. All have different menus and variety. I mostly go to Pines Dining hall and i like the stir fry (its like fried noodles with your choice of sauce). You can pay with money but almost everyone has a dining plan and use that to pay off their food.

Diversity at University of California - San Diego

B-

Diversity

I am hispanic and I am the minority. Every where you look there will be asians. Asians are dominant here. I feel like the sexual orientation is even out. I have met many many students from all around California. So if you are wanting to meet many out-of-state students...that might be hard. BUT there are many international students from mostly the asian countries.

Frats and Sororities

There are many frats and sororities here at UCSD. Some focus on partying more than others. It all depends what you want youre interests are.

Here are UCSD we are NOT at all a party school. We are not socially dead, there are many other fun things to do. If you like to party there are parties but you just have to search for it.

Parking at University of California - San Diego

B

Parking at School

Its kinda cool how there is free parking during the weekends. but during the week you have to get a permit and if you live on campus and have a car the permits get expensive b/c its starts adding up. During the week there is few parking spaces UNLESS you arrive to school really early. You can get a ticket if you dont have a permit. If you live on campus and dont live in san diego then you dont really need a car.
