The Food Is Great, but It's So Overpriced

The variety of places around Baruch and the great-tasting food is definitely an advantage. But I find it disappointing that a decent meal has to cost more than $10. About all you can afford on a low budget is probably a slice of pizza.

Great Food, But the Prices Are So HIGH!

There is a variety of great restaurants here, and food is definitely good, but I find it sad that students have to spend so much in order to get a decent meal, and this doesn't includes fast food restaurants. My personal favorite is Pax, though it is a bit pricey. However, if on a budget, you could always count on the nearby fast food places, such as Popeyes, McDonald's, and Subway.

Very Fair

There is not much to tell about campus strictness, since it seems like a free environment, and I haven't seen any behavior so far that actually required any punishment. Academically, though, I would have to say that they are very strict about plagiarism and keeping up with credit requirements.

Depends on Your Mode of Transportation

There are different ways to get to Baruch, mainly by bus or by train. Though I am used to the subway, I have heard that the bus is a bit easier and more convenient. However, bus rides do cost more money.

Facilities Are Great, but Often Crowded

It all depends on the timing, but often times, it is hard to find space, especially during club hours. However, the facilities are pretty decent and very quiet, which is a plus. My best choice would be the library.

There Is No Housing

I guess we have no housing because Baruch is right in the city, and people are more used to commuting. However, it would be really great if Baruch could provide dorms.
