Off Campus and in LA
It's a dry campus, so all the parties are off campus. The off campus parties are fun, but you can also go clubing in LA. There is a wide range of clubs to go to that sometimes offer 18 and over nights. Tuesday is a big party night because no one has class Wednesday morning do to convocation at 10am. If you skip that, you won't have class until at least 11. Other than that, weekends are big.

Always a Challenge
You can bring your car on campus as a Freshman and parking permits are free. The tour guides will tell you that you don't need a car on campus because of shuttle service to the local shops, but you really do need one if you want to get anywhere. parking on campus is horrible. There never seem to be enough places in main lots, so you better get really good at parallel parking on a curve on a hill and be prepared to hike to class if you miss the shuttle.

Pretty Good
The financial office tries really hard to accomodate everyone and there are many scholarships and grants available to help students. Sometimes paperwork is not handled efficiently, which can be very stressful of you are waiting for aid to come through so that you can pay your balance and register for classes the next semester
