Both Innovative and Friendly
I am entering the MS in Experimental Psychology program this fall. I have found the staff of the Graduate Studies office to be very helpful, and the faculty of the Psychology department have been extremely welcoming, helpful, and eager for me to join the program. Most of the other schools I considered had MA in Psychology programs, and were either big and impersonal or lackadaisical. At Seton Hall I'll get an MS instead of an MA, and be part of a program that's small and new, but energetic, innovative, and with graduates who go on to PhD programs and great careers.

Typical Mid-Atlantic Weather
I'm coming to Seton Hall in September and don't know the weather firsthand yet. However, I live about 2 hours away and expect the weather to be similar to what I grew up with. The Penn/Jersey area gets four seasons, with the occasional snowstorm in winter or oppressive heat wave in summer. But weather is decent 95% of the time and you get used to the rest.

Friendliness & Tolerance
So far I can only speak from a prospective student's viewpoint, but the admissions staff and the faculty of my program have been very friendly- far more personable and helpful than other grad schools I applied to. Also, I'm encouraged by signs that the campus is tolerant towards other faiths besides the Catholicism it's established on.
