Campus Drinking – The campus security is pretty relaxed. They break up most parties, but the punishment for underage drinking is being placed on "probation". You really have to be making a total fool of your self to actually get punished for it, and punishment it not all that severe either. It sucks if you had plans of becoming an RA or something in that realm because it's not liking you'll be able to with probation on your record, but it doesn't have much of an effect other than that. If you're smart about it and stay relatively quiet, it's easy not to get caught.

Yea Right – You can head down to Ithaca for night life there, but don't expect it from Wells itself. There are a few good parties most weekends, but there usually in someone's tiny dorm in groups or four or five and they get broken up by security if they get too noisy. Off campus dorms have some better parties, but those get broken up alot too. Wells is one of those "Let's get drunk and watch youtube!" campuses. If you make friends and enjoying partying with them then you're set, but don't expect much more than that.

Wells has some of the older dorm buildings that are nice, they have their own unique atmosphere, such as Weld or Main. Dodge is a great dorm building for partying, but also for privacy because of the layout. There really is not much to eat on or around campus unless you want to drive out to Ithaca or Auburn, each are about half an hour away in opposite directions.So make sure to bring food from home or hope for lots of care packages. It's a very beautiful looking campus. The lake is literally right there and there is plenty of trees and sprawling fields. The social atmosphere is pretty much what you would expect from a tiny liberal arts college-- close knit and corky. It's easy enough to make friends tho and people can be fairly friendly. The partying isn't the best, but it can be fun and if you know people over at Cornell or Ithaca college those schools have awesome parties. Do not come to Wells looking for a relationship. The gender ratio is way off. Good for an awkward one night stand and not much else. The one grocery store in town is over priced and doesn't have much of a selection--only go if you can't get out to Auburn. The classes are good, the teachers fantastic and honestly that's what you're going to college for anyway, right? Let's hope so...
