Dorms....
The dorms are pretty awful. It is guaranteed that there will always be a group of other kids in the lounges, regardless of the hour. SA's tend to be overly strict. Communal bathrooms tend to get super disgusting very quickly and it seems that people will always be up and making some form of noise in the halls no matter what the hour. I lived in Dobson and am soo happy to be living in an apartment off campus now.

Drugs Are a Rarity
Drugs are a rarity. i would say a very small percentage of the student population actually does any form of drug. There are a few members of Greek life that seem to have become labelled as 'druggie' frats but other than that drug use is remarkably small. Alcohol, on the other hand, is easy to get and there is almost always a few parties going on somewhere.

Transportation
Seriously, Kirksville is small enough that there is hardly any need for transportation. Freshmen are allowed to have cars so its never hard to find someone to drive to on a Walmart run.

Go Greek!
I always knew i would end up in Greek life once coming to college and once i came to Truman i rushed and pledged. Greek life really allows you to meet a lot of people quickly and to develop friendships that will last a lifetime. Additionally, parties are almost impossible to find and get into without being a member of Greek life. My current experience in a frat has been great and i strongly suggest any student at Truman to become a member of a fraternity/sorority.

Bulldogs Blow
Almost all of Truman's athletic teams are terrible and there is almost no student support of said teams. It is kind of sad how much we suck really.

Truman Scale
Welcome to Truman, home of the Truman scale. Whats the Truman scale? Well, unfortunately Truman has a pretty terrible selection when it comes to girls. Sure, there are the occasional attractive girls but they tend to know how attractive they are and have terrible personalities as a result. Truman does however have a large population of butter faces, just straight up ugly girls, a fair amount of average looking girls and a very small number of attractive girls...so what is a guy to do? Use the Truman scale my friend. With the Truman scale you essentially scale down your normal standards and drop them by three points. So now a girl that outside of Truman would be a 5/10 is now a 8/10.
Its terrible, its awful, but its Truman.
