Food Is Just Okay
The food is not great in the dining halls and there is not too much variety. When there is it is usually some weird dish that not many people eat. Best place to eat is the mcneil room but it is only open a few hours for lunch. Meals plan is kind of expensive for the food you get. Fathers market has your basics like milk and eggs. They just started to stock some vegetables. I wish they stocked more fruit rather than just whole pineapples and fruit cups.

Nothing Much for Underage
If you are over 21 there are plenty of bars and places to go to but there is not a lot for under 21. There are frat parties but they are not that great

It Rains a LOT
It rains all the time here. A lot of the walkways get full of puddles. I recommend waterproof hiking sneakers and a good rain coat in Troy. They do a very good job of taking care of snow on campus.
