Availability and Affordability
The University of Kansas is a very large school, but each of the seven libraries has computers open to students, and tons of printing areas. One may simply rent a laptop for a few hours for free, using their i.d. Printing does cost $0.08 per page, but each semester every student gets 100 free pages of printing, and in some areas of study, printing is free (ex. Engineering).

Police Aren't Too Involved
Not to say that the police let everyone get away with everything, but with so many students, they don't bust parties or get anyone in trouble for underage drinking too often. They are present on campus during events and every day class is in session, and I feel safe on campus.

Know Your Permit
There are many random parking lots on campus, each with a separate lot number and permit required for certain hours of the day. It's honestly very confusing to a freshman. There are even parking permits required for the side of streets, which may be hard to see the sign. Students living on campus can only park in front of their dorms, and the rest driving need a certain permit. It's also hard to tell when the lots are open to everyone.
