What Is Close to the University of Michigan?
Ann Arbor is a small, close-knit community which is walking distance from everything-the restaurants, the museums, the farmers market. It has also been selected as an All- America City Award finalist which is given to the city which models safety, low poverty rates, and contains many activities for the tourists and University of Michigan students. About a 30 minute drive is the popular metropolitan, Detroit which is home to Ford Field and Comerica Park so students are able to follow the Lions and Tigers. About a one hour drive from Ann Arbor is Lansing, home to Michigan State University. Students from University of Michigan rarely interact with Michigan State students except at football games.

Resources Produce Better Grades
The reason why I attended the University of Michigan is not because of the eleven National Championships their football team possesses, but because of the vibrant class atmosphere. Even though there are sometimes 600 students in one class, the class is also broken up into 25 parts of 24 students, so the college feels like a college within a college. Teachers are always willing to give up their time to help the students learn. Also, there are many resources available on campus which help the students study such as the Sweetland Writing Center which helps students write essays.

My Career at the University of Michigan
As I have not entered the University of Michigan, I anticipate that the program of Biology will be suitable for me. However, I want to apply to the Ross School of Business during my second semester of Freshman year. At the moment, I have different paths I am interested in which includes dentistry, optometry, and also a career in the business field. I am a little skeptical about finding a job in the business industry as there are so many other candidates across the world vying for jobs. However, the medical field seems a little more optimistic but I know it will be challenging and I am prepared to accomplish my goal.
