Lewis & Clark Is About as Safe as a College Campus Can Be.
Lewis & Clark campus is fairly isolated, and located in a residential neighborhood. This means that it is rare for suspicious persons to appear on campus. All the dark woods surrounding all the dorms and flanking the walk from the library to the dorms makes walking home late at night a bit concerning, but Lewis & Clark is probably safer than most college campuses.

There Is No Greek Life.
Greek life is not offered at Lewis & Clark. However, sports teams often choose to live in houses together.

Lots of Rain, but It's Still Great!
Portland is known for its rainy weather. However, all that rain keeps the beautiful campus green and lush, and if you are lucky it will snow a couple times in the winter and classes will get canceled! Fall is very pretty with changing trees, but you will need a good raincoat. In the spring students fill up the lawns whenever it is sunny, and Portland fills up with pink flowering trees.
