Drugs Are Everywhere
You're in New York City. Of course there are tons of drugs. Before coming to NYU I smoked but had done nothing more. Within the first two months here I had experimented with shrooms, Molly, DMT, and my floormates invested in a vaporizer. my floormates have also experimented with cocaine, E and some prescription drugs. They are totally apparent even just in my freshman dorm and very easily accessible. It is very easy to say no, however. No one is pressuring you to take them (besides why would they want to waste expensive drugs on someone who doesn't want to take them?)

The City
As a Studio Art major the resources of the city are awesome. We take field trips (or go on our own) to the many great art museums and even places like the zoe or natural history museum to draw. Plus the gallery scene is great. We go to the galleries all the time. Plus you can get great internships and jobs
