Best Advice 'Dont Be Stupid and Don't Get Caught'
We're on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. During the week students work very hard so on the weekends, parties are raging. Don't smoke in your dorm, don't drink in front of faculty/staff if you're underage, don't smoke in buildings accept the Happy Valley common room. It's kind of a live and let live situation. Most of the campus drinks and/or smokes weed but the party community has a pretty decent relationship with the chem free social circle.

Decent
The college has vans that run to town every so often and organized van runs to events. There is also the Moover which is public transportation and it picks you up right in front of the dining hall.

Incredible
This school is amazing. Admissions are kind of easy but not everyone who gets in can make it here. The work is extremely rigorous but the professors are amazing. It's really easy to get close to them and they can be your best allies. The campus is gorgeous and the buildings are too. The sense of community is abundant and the students are really diverse and wonderful.

Very Challenging
Classes are hard and you will be worked extremely hard but the education you receive is incredible.

Food Sucks
The worst thing about Marlboro is the food. About once a week there will be a great meal but usually it's awful. There is a place to get food in the campus center but it's overpriced and the hours aren't concrete.

I Hope You Like Hippies and Hipsters
There are an abundance of hipsters here, and a few genuine hippies. Everyone sleeps with everyone and nudity is welcome always.
The girls don't shave and neither do the guys. If you don't like girls with hairy pits/legs and hipsters galore, you'll hate it here.

It's Freezing and Icy.
Most of the roads on campus aren't paved and so there is a huge problem with ice. Walking anywhere can prove to be a serious challenge. There are many days when you just want to stay inside to avoid the icy death outside or the ever-falling snow.

Small Dorms Mean Great Relationships
All the dorms at Marlboro are pretty small, no more than say, 30 people in a dorm. The best dorms are the newly renovated Howland, Happy Valley because there are great parties and the rooms are pretty big. The worst are Shrader, Half-Way/ All-The-Way, Marlboro Gardens (aka the Trailer).
