Sonoma State has a bus stop on campus to help students get around the city of Rohnert Park. There is a 7-11, taco bell, juice shack, quiznos, pizza hut, and a few other stores right across the street. The nearest grocery store is two and a half miles away, which makes walking there difficult.

There isn't a lot of housing very close to campus, so you would have to have a car. Because you are living in Sonoma County, the cost is high. Living in the dorms is cheaper.

The classrooms are always clean and are in good condition. The library is very neat and quiet with lots of computers for student use. The dining hall is alright. The campus is very beautiful and the air is clean. The new music building is very nice and provides a lot to the music majors.
